The village atara is aproximatly 3.5 to 4 Kilometer norht of Berzeit,the houses of both are too much nearer espicaily from the norht side of atara,
Five tribes(Hamoula)are existing (Alkadadha,Aldahadha,Alkotiri,Dar abu irjilah and Alkhatib) each is consiosting from many families.
The harmonious social relations can be easily detected among all of them, the village is famous in its olive oil.
