Posted by fadie dar abo kabel on March 13, 2008 #31532 قرية عين يبرود تقع هذه القرية إلى الشمال الشرقي من مدينة رام الله، وتبعد عنها حوالي 7كم تتبع إدارياً لبلدية سلواد التابعة لقضاء رام الله ترتفع عن سطح البر حوالي 800 م ويدير شؤونها مختار القرية . تبلغ مساحتها العمرانية حوالي 2640 دونم، ومساحتها الكلية حوالي 11500 دونم يزرع فيها الزيتون والتين والعنب، والبرقوق، وتحيط بها أراضي قرى سلواد، ويبرود والطيبة، ورمون، ودير دبوان، ودورا القرع، وتعتمد على مياه الأمطار في الشرب والري بالإضافة إلى بئر نبع . بلغ عدد سكان القرية عام 1922م حوالي 576 نسمة، وفي عام 1945م 930 نسمة، وبعد عدوان حزيران 1967م بلغ عدد سكانها حسب الإحصاء الصهيوني 1418 نسمة، ارتفع هذا العدد ليصل عام 1987م حوالي 2299 نسمة. يوجد في القرية مدارس لمختلف المراحل الدراسية، ويتوفر في القرية عيادة طبية واحدة، ولا يتوفر خدمات بريدية . في القرية جمعية عين يبرود الخيرية والتي تأسست عام 1981م وتشرف على العديد من الأنشطة منها مركز لمحو الأمية، ونادي رياضي ومركز للتدريب على الخياطة والنسيج وتشرف على روضة أطفال . تقع إلى جوار عين يبرود العديد من الخرب التي تحتوي العديد من الآثار القديمة، صادرت سلطات الاحتلال جزءاً من أراضيها وأقامت عليها مستوطنة (عوفرا) وهي قرية تعاونية أنشأت عام 1980م وتبلغ مساحتها حوالي 11100 دونم . و سلام عليكم
