If you are aware of any potential refugees from other towns whom we can interview in Jordan, please contact Mr. Rakan Mahmoud at +962-79-661-5275 with your information. Currently, we are pressed hard to interview people from towns that we have not yet covered, your help is CRITICAL since time is our main enemy.
Help preserving our history and culture for future generations. To make it easier on you, we have authored a training manual and a list of questions. We suggest studying these two documents carefully, then use any available technology (such as video camera, digital recorder, or even regular tap recorder) to retain Nakba Oral History as much as you can. Once done, we will be more than happy to post your work at the site after crediting you completely for your work.
We are in need of people who have the time and patience to carefully listen to what is spoken in the interviews, and to rephrase it to traditional Arabic (Fus-haa). Then the manuscript has to be typed in Arabic text, which later should be translated to English. It should be noted that you will be COMPLETELY credited and your work shall be published next to each transcribed interview.

8 ) الازهري الوجيه يوسف الخديشي
مكانته :
هو صاحب رواق بلاد الشام في الازهر الشريف .. ومسمى على اسمه الشيخ يوسف بن صالح بن محمد الخديشي .. وكل من كان يخرج للعلام من الشام لا بد ان يدخل رواق الخديشي الخاص ببلاد الشام ... وقد تتلمذ الكثير من ابناء الاردن وفلسطين على يد الشيخ الجليل يوسف واشهرهم هو العالم الفذ الشيخ عيسى منون القدسي
9 ) الازهري الوجيه محمد الخديشي
علامه :
استوفى علامه في الازهر الشريف
شهرته :
عقاد حيفاء ... فقد اشتهر الشيخ محمد الخديشي في عقد القران على مستوى حيفا ولا يكاد عقدا يتم بدونه "وخاصه من فترة 1900 حتى 1922م "
خاتمته :
امضى حياته مؤذن وامام للمسجد من نعومه اضافره حتى مشيبه ومات فيه واحسن الله خاتمته
اللهم انا نسالك حسن الخاتمه ... قولو امين يا السامعين
10 ) الوجيه معين عبدالله الماضي
مناصبه :
عين رئيس بلدية عكا ثم قائم مقام لها عام 1912م
في 1947 عين عضو في الهيئه العربيه العليا
عين في عهد الملك فيصل على ناحية الكرك خاصه والجنوب عامه
هذا فيض من غيض .............................
شخصيات عشيرة الهرامسة (( ابن هرماس ))
1 / الامير شيخان الخديشي :
اول من عرف اميرا للعمق الشرقي الجليلي (( ذاك الجزء الشمالي الفلسطيني )) قرابة 1700 فما حولها ، وشغلها من بيسان لحيفا ... حتى انحصرت في النهاية في الجليل الأدنى ....
2 / الأمير نصر الله الماضي :
اول من عرف اميرا للساحل " المغاريب " .... قرابة 1735
3 / الشيخ مسعود الماضي :
مناصبه :
ملتزم حيفا
سيد المنطقة من حيفا شمالا لنتانيا جنوبا
زعيم الساحل حيفا في قرابة (( 1805 حتى 1819 ))
متسلم غزه وناحيتها عام 1234 هـ
زعيم الساحل من حيفا حتى غزه
اعماله :
بناء مسجد اجزم 1236 هـ
استشهاده :
اعدم بسبب قيادتة تمرد جبل الكرمل واعلانه الثوره على الحكم الذي ساد تلك المنطقة وقتل ذبحا على أبواب عكا
اهم آثاره :
متحف مسعود في قرية إجزم الذي حول اليوم من قبل القردة والخنازير اجلكم الله الى .........
5 ) المحامي محمد الماضي :
عين محامي لحيفا بعد استشهاد الشيخ مسعود
6 ) الشيخ عيسى الماضي :
عين متسلم يافا عام 1832 م
7 ) الشيخ مصطفى الخديشي :
ولادته :
ولد في عام 1835 ؟ 1252 هـ
لقبة :
الازهري فكان شيخ دين ورعا تقيا وقد اخذ علومه الاولية على يد النبهاني واستكملها في الازهر الشريف عام 1283 هـ وكان يعلم في الكتاب في مسجد قريبة الشيخ مسعود
مناصبة :
شيخ مشايخ للهرامسه (( ابن هرماس )) / عقيد قوم
اعماله :
نادى في وجوب انشاء مدرسة في قرية إجزم وكان من المؤسسين لها عام 1881- 1298 هـ وعمل معلما فيها ايضا وكانت ليست للقرية بل للقرى المجاورة ايضا
قيل فيه :
يا خديشي يا عاقد العمامه ........ بيتك شريف وماتن الدعامة
فقد كانو يلجأو اليه في حل النزعات وذلك لعلو قدرة في حيفا خاصة والجليل عامــــه
توفي :
1898-1315 هـ رحمه الله
عشيرة ابن هرماس "الهرامسة " وقرية إجزم :
تتكون العشيرة ( عشيرة ابن هرماس ) في الشام الجنوبي من شقين شقيقين هما :
1 ) ابن خديش وتجمع على الخدايشة واسمها المنسوب الخديشي
2
) ابن ماضي وتجمع على آل ماضي او آل الماضي
وتنحذر الهرامسة من قبيلة الوحيدات .... وتنحذر القبيله من نسل المام علي اكرم الله وجهه ....
ومن هنا ااخذ على الحج او على ذاكرة الحج بعض الامور التي قد نسيها ... لذا اقيدها هنا لعل الله ينفعنا في السلف الصالح .....

وأحب أضيف أن غالبيةالسكان المهجرين إلى العراق هم من قرى(إجزم؛ جبع؛عين غزال)وأضيف أن مختار قرية إجزم رحمه الله هو جدي / مرشدحسن زيدان. وهو عم والدي(رحمه الله) / يحيى توفيق حسن زيدان ولنا الفخر جميعآبأن ختم المختارمازال موجودإلى وقتنا الحالي في الأردن-عمان مع أعمامي جعلهم ذخرآ وفخرآ لنا..... وفي النهايه أنا جزماوي وسأبقى جزماوي .

بارك الله في جهودكم لاعادة التذكير بالتاريخ الفلسطيني قبل واثناء النكبه وأود هنا ان ابين امراً مهما فات السيد ذيب الزيدان ان يذكره حول العوائل والحواميل في اجزم وهي عائله العواصي والتي تجمع في طياتها بيت العيد والزيدان وعواد وشيبان وابو حمده وقدوره وهي العشيره الوحيده التي كانت تنافس عشيره الماضي بالعدد والقوة ولا اعلم كيف اغفل الحاج ذيب الزيدان هذه العائله الكبيره والتي عائلته هي من فروع العائله الكبيره ارجو التنبيه وشكرا
