Although the villages of Sabbarin, al-Sundyana, and al-Fureidis were welling to surrender to the Haganah, they were mostly ethically cleansed upon occupation. Al-Syndyana Mokhtar along with his family and 300 other civilians stayed put and raised a white flag upon occupation. They were mostly expelled toward the Jinin areas. |

| Archeological sites | al-Sindiyana contained building foundations, and pottery and tesserae which have been seen on its surface in a nearby Khirba. According to the Palestinian historian Walid Khalidi, the village remaining structures on the village land are:
"The site is fenced in with barbed wire. Scattered piles of stones, the debris of destroyed houses, are visible among thorns, cactuses and fig, olive, and palm trees."
