THIS IS MY FAMILIES HOME, BUILT BY MY GREAT UNCLE. MY FAMILY WAS FORCED TO LEAVE IN 1948, MY FATHER AND UNCLES WERE PUT IN PRISON CAMPS AND THE WOMEN WERE FORCED TO LEAVE BY FOOT. THIS PROPERTY WAS STOLEN BY FORCE BY THE ISRAELI'S ON MAY 22, 1948.

Jason is correct, this house is used by the Hasdiye Family from Fardis village, all of the brothers use it , including Samir and Mousa. They are fishermen, and do store all of their gear in this building, it is very precious to them, countless times they and their families have sat and eaten togeather here, they have repaired nets, unloaded fish, their young children have grown up, spending their summers here, and now they bring their children to swim at Tantura....it really is a very special place to us all.
