I always thought of this little place even though I did not know exactly where it is located. The Palestinians from Beit-Lid East of Tulkarem are the owners of this precious place. They used to go down in the summer to Beit-Lid Al-Sahel to harvest their summer crops and in the winter go back to Beit-Lid on the hills to harvest their olie crops. My folks always talked about this place even though I was born and raised in Al-Fandaqomia (southern tip of Jenin district). The story goes that my folks came to Al-Fandaqomia from Beit-Lid and when they talked of Beit-Lid they talked about both the villages on the hills east of Tulkarem and the village on the coast.
